Mumchkins specialises in Maternity and Baby-wear as well as special gifts for mother and child.   The company has been set up specifically for women who find it difficult to get maternity wear that fits properly and therefore we mainly stock trousers for tall women and offer a trouser shortening service at point of sale - exact measurements are in our product descriptions.

Lack of value for money is a common irritation and restriction for expectant mothers as maternity wear can be fairly expensive and is usually only worn for a short period of time.  For this reason, Mumchkins has tried to keep costs as low as possible and we also buy and sell nearly new maternity and baby-wear.  When finished with your items, customers can sell used maternity wear to the company. 

We also offer some very special unique gifts which we can arrange to be sent to the hospital for new mums too.  Items such as clothing bouquets and special keepsakes are available.  Please contact us when purchasing in order to arrange this. 

Hand knitted baby items are becoming a thing of the past with many mothers now buying clothing for their babies instead, but they still love to have clothing which has been made specifically for their baby.  At Mumchkins, we offer hand knitted baby items (and also to order) such as shawls, cardigans, jumpers, hats, mitts and booties.  You can choose the style, size and colour yourself if you so wish as well as any special message embroidered into the item.

For added peace of mind, we also sell Dopplers.  These are useful from about 12 weeks when you may start to be able to hear your baby's heartbeat using this device.  The Doppler comes with connecting wires to allow you to be able to record your baby's heartbeat to keep for always.
